We at Horizon Dental know that paying for dental care can be expensive and stressful. We want our patients to feel as relaxed paying for their services as they are when they are getting treatment. We know not all patients have dental insurance, so we also accept alternatives through our third-party providers.

Payment Plans Offered
Horizon Dental knows that it can be difficult to pay for dental services, so we work to make the process as easy as possible. For our patients without dental insurance, we work with CareCredit, Proceed Finance, and Cherry as external payment plans to help cover the cost of services. Patients can pay in longer financing terms with our third-party payments.

Do third party payment plans hurt my credit?
Nope! There is no impact on your credit score to check. Proceed Finance and CareCredit both do soft checks and may offer up to 120 months of financing!

Can I use CareCredit with my insurance?
CareCredit may be applied to your balance however you would like. You may choose to use your CareCredit card to pay your balance in full, in conjunction with your insurance coverage, or in small portions.
Dental Visit Cost
The cost of visiting the dentist depends on what services and treatments you receive and your type of insurance. After creating a treatment plan with one of our doctors, we can discuss how to move forward with financing options.
Our office accepts and is in-network with most insurance companies. These include, but are not limited to Ameritas, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, Principal, and United Concordia. If you have any questions about if your insurance is accepted, please call our office.

Our team is knowledgeable about dental insurance, so we’re happy to file and track your claims for you to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your benefits. We just ask that you bring your insurance card to each appointment, so we can make sure your information is as up-to-date as possible.
